"Sometimes, the best thing about getting lost is that you finally find yourself."

A safe, compassionate space to reconnect with yourself — at your own pace.

Guided by Empathy,
Shaped by Experience

I am Suparna Arora, a counselling psychologist trained at Parivarthan, Bangalore.

In the journey of self-exploration and discovery there is healing and growth. As a counsellor, helping my clients in this journey, I lend a listening ear with warmth and empathy, offering a safe space where they can hold on to hope, be who they are and share their hopes, fears, pain, perseverance and so much more. Here, the focus is not just on navigating crises, but on gently reconnecting with yourself at a pace that feels safe and sustainable for your unique journey, helping you to steer your life in the direction that feels right for you.

My journey into therapeutic practice was preceded by 15 years as an educator—my professional and life experiences profoundly shape how I show up for my clients today—with deep patience, care, and empathy. My core belief is that every individual has the inherent potential to grow. I facilitate the unlocking of this potential and help in empowering my clients to take on their journey of healing and self-growth.

Through my practice, I aim to support individuals to live better and more fulfilling lives, being their true and authentic selves.

I work with individuals from 16 years to 60+. I focus on concerns ranging from stress, anxiety, depression, anger management, self-esteem, self-doubts, relationship issues, attachment patterns, life transitions, parenting issues, geriatric issues, grief and loss.

A Space to Pause, Reflect, and Heal

I draw from different therapeutic approaches to ensure therapy is always adapted to your unique needs.

Trauma-Informed Approach

My approach is rooted in safety and pacing. We create a secure environment where your past experiences are respected, allowing you to heal at a rhythm that feels right for you.

Collaborative Growth

Therapy is a gentle partnership. Together, we explore unhelpful thought patterns and build your inner capacity to navigate overwhelm with greater clarity and self-compassion.

Holistic Awareness

We notice how stress and emotions are held within the body. By integrating somatic awareness, we can revisit and heal emotional experiences that feel stuck or overwhelming.

Compassionate Support for Your Healing Journey

Whether you are seeking clarity individually, looking to strengthen your connection as a couple, or rebuilding harmony as a family, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore and grow at your own pace.

Individual Therapy session environment

"A space to reflect, heal and reconnect — Cultivating clarity and inner resilience."

I work with adults to navigate anxiety, low mood, self esteem, self doubts, grief, relationship conflicts and life transitions through a trauma-informed, gentle approach that respects your inner capacity to heal and is rooted in safety, pacing, and somatic awareness. Together, we explore how emotional experiences are held in the body, using narrative techniques and compassion-focused work.

Some of the modalities I use are Parts work (Inner Child and IFS framework), Mindfulness integrated work, narrative and somatic practices, ACT and CBT.

This might mean:

  • Explore and shift unhelpful thought patterns
  • Shift from reactive patterns to intentional presence
  • Learn ways to manage overwhelming emotions
  • Understand different parts of you (like the part that overthinks or feels stuck)
  • Revisit and heal past emotional experiences that still affect you
  • Pay attention to how your body holds stress and trauma

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about therapy, sessions, and what to expect.

If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult life transition, or simply seeking a space to ground yourself, therapy can be transformative. You don’t need to be in a crisis to start; sometimes, seeking clarity is enough. You don't need to have everything figured out to start; we find the way together.
Our first meeting is a gentle introduction. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your history, and what you hope to achieve, all at a pace that feels safe for you. There is no pressure to share everything at once.
Yes, privacy is a fundamental pillar of our therapeutic relationship. Everything discussed remains confidential, with a few legal and ethical exceptions which we will go over in detail during our first meeting.
Yes, my practice is trauma-informed. This means we prioritize safety, trust, and your own sense of control over the narrative. We proceed at your pace, using somatic awareness to ensure your nervous system feels regulated as we explore difficult experiences.
The length of our journey together is deeply personal and depends on your unique needs. Some people find short-term sessions helpful for specific concerns, while others prefer ongoing, long-term support to deepen their self-understanding and healing. We will regularly review your progress and adjust the pace accordingly.
I offer both face-to-face sessions in Bangalore and remote video counselling. This allows you the flexibility to attend sessions from a safe and comfortable environment that fits your schedule and lifestyle.

You don't have to navigate everything alone. Sometimes, just starting the conversation is the first step back to yourself.
